New Cincinnati Art Museum director's open house today

• The Cincinnati Art Museum is at 953 Eden Park Drive.

The Cincinnati Art Museum is hosting a public open house from 4-6 p.m. today, Oct. 1.

Visitors will be able to meet new director Cameron Kitchin, whose first official day on the job is today. Kitchin was formerly director of the Brooks Museum of Art in Memphis.

Kitchin will make some short remarks at about 4:45 p.m. The event will be held in the museum's Great Hall.

Parking, usually $4 per car for non-members, is free from 4-6 p.m.
