Former Cincinnati Reds player Tracy Jones was laid off as a 700 WLW co-host of "Eddie and Tracy," an employee confirmed.

An employee confirmed Monday afternoon that Jones is no longer employed at 700 WLW. Rocky Boiman co-hosted the show with Eddie Fingers on Monday. Fingers co-hosted with Meat and Deb on Friday. Thursday's show was the last one Jones co-hosted with Fingers.

Jones started co-hosting on 700 WLW-AM with Eddie Fingers from 3 to 6 p.m. in 2008. They were on-and-off co-hosts of the mid-afternoon program since.

Jones played for the Reds for parts of three seasons from 1986 to 1988 and was a first-round pick of the team in January of 1983 - in the MLB Secondary Phase draft. He also played for the Montreal Expos, San Francisco Giants, Detroit Tigers and Seattle Mariners before retiring in 1991.
