Standing 6 feet 5 inches tall, with a head like a water tower, Y'All Star made his first appearance as the Florence Freedom's new mascot Saturday at the city of Florence Easter egg hunt.

The new mascot, presented by the LifeCenter Organ Donor Network, won't take the field with his teammates until the Freedom's opening day game on May 13 against the Windy City Thunderbolts, but came out early for Saturday's event.

“Florence and the Freedom have always been a huge part of my life,” Y’All Star stated in a press release. “I’m just excited to meet the fans, host the Y’All-Star Game, and cheer on the Freedom during this landmark season and beyond.”

After the Frontier League recognized the Freedom as the organization of the year in 2015, it was announced the league's Mid-Summer Classic All-Star game would be held in Florence. The event was quickly dubbed the Y'All-Star Game.

The Freedom finished the 2015 regular season with a record of 49-47, but lost the first game in the league playoffs.

The Y'All-Star Game festivities will be held July 11-13 at UC Health Stadium.
