Ohio teens trick Google into honoring Harambe

If a teenage boy was given the chance to rename the street his high school was on, his mouth would likely salivate at the opportunity for mischief.

But not these boys.

These three used their powers (or strange apparent knowledge of Google's complaint policies) to commemorate Harambe, the gorilla that was shot and killed at the Cincinnati Zoo after a boy fell into the exhibit.

As the Tweet above states, Chris Gallagher and his friends, all students at South High School in Willoughby, Ohio, complained to Google that the street their school is on is actually called Harambe Drive.

Google apparently bought it, according to Buzzfeed News.

The excitement was short-lived: By Monday, Google Maps had the correct street name, Shankland Road, listed.

But all hope is not lost – searching "Harambe Drive" in Google Maps will still take you there.
