After discovering a woman dead in her apartment Wednesday, Taylor Mill police said Friday that the death has been ruled a homicide.

Trina Coleman, 34, was found dead Wednesday in her third-floor apartment in the 700 block of Sharon Drive, police said.

Investigators initially called the death "suspicious," but a medical examiner ruled the death a homicide.

On Nov. 4, police were actively seeking Lamont Brandon Johnson in connection with her death, as they believed he was the last one to see her alive. Police believe Johnson is Coleman's ex-boyfriend.

According to a Monday morning news release, Johnson was located in Hamilton County, where he is currently incarcerated on multiple unrelated warrants.

Once those charges are adjudicated, Johnson will be extradited to Kentucky for further unrelated charges there, police said.

No one has been charged in Coleman's death, however, and the investigation continues, police said.

Johnson does have an active felony warrant for First-degree fleeing police stemming from an incident in August after Covington Police were led on a high-speed chase.
