See the Greater Cincinnati High School Sports Awards finalists

The Enquirer has now announced the high school athletes who are finalists in their sport for the inaugural Greater Cincinnati Sports Awards, presented by Beacon Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony and dinner June 23 at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Downtown Cincinnati. All finalists have earned free tickets to the event.

Cincinnati Reds legend Pete Rose will join The Enquirer on stage to help honor the athletes from the 29 sports during the show, which will be hosted by Bengals columnist Paul Dehner Jr. Rose will also take part in a one-on-one discussion with nationally acclaimed Enquirer columnist Paul "Doc" Daugherty.

It is the same weekend Rose will enter the Reds Hall of Fame the weekend after the Greater Cincinnati Sports Awards.
