Lauren Hill's parents and Devon and Leah Still will attend the Dick Vitale Gala in May, the ESPN basketball analyst announced on Twitter Sunday morning.

Vitale said Hill's parents, Brent and Lisa Hill, and Hill's coach, Dan Benjamin, will attend the annual gala that raises money for pediatric cancer research.

They will be joined by Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still and his daughter, Leah Still, who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in 2014 and is now in remission.

Devon and Leah Still will be honored during the event, Vitale said.

Lauren Hill and Leah Still became well-known in the last year as the two fought childhood cancer. Devon Still announced in late March that his daughter was in remission. Hill died April 10.

The Dick Vitale Gala is an annual fundraising event hosted by Dick and Lorraine Vitale. Proceeds from the event benefit the V Foundation and pediatric cancer research, according to the event's website.

This year, the gala will honor Jim Boeheim, head basketball coach of Syracuse; Jimbo Fischer, head football coach of Florida State; and Lovie Smith, head football coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

A previous version of this article said Thomas O'Toole, the assistant managing sports editor at USA Today, would be honoring Devon and Leah Still at the gala. We apologize for this error.
