Ronald Reagan reopened after accident leaves 1 hurt

A man was rushed to the hospital after he was hit by a car while changing a tire on the side of Ronald Reagan Highway Saturday afternoon, according to police.

The accident occurred on the eastbound side of Ronald Reagan Highway near Galbraith Road and shut the highway in both directions for more than an hour.

The man suffered a non-life threatening, but serious leg injury and was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center,officials said. Some reports from the scene indicated that the man's leg may have been severed, a Hamilton County dispatcher said.
