The parents of a 2-year-old who recently died will be held on $250,000 bond apiece, a Hamilton County judge said Monday.

Andrea Bradley and Glen Bates were also ordered not to have any contact with their other children.

Bradley, 28, of East Walnut Hills, and Bates, 32, of College Hill, were arrested around 1:30 p.m. Sunday and charged with felony child endangerment.

The child "suffered serious physical abuse," including bite marks, cuts and abrasions, between March 1 and 29, according court documents. Records do not indicate when the child died.

After the child died, Bradley brought the toddler to Children's Hospital Medical Center for treatment. The child's injuries suggested abuse and a lack of care and protection, according to the documents.

Investigators also note that Bates was alone with the 2-year-old several times in March and "did knowingly physically abuse the child," according to the documents.

The pair were later arrested by two homicide detectives.

Hamilton County Job and Services Director Moira Weir said in a statement her agency is reviewing its past interactions with the family.

"We are involved with more than 17,000 children every year and our overriding goal is their safety. We take that responsibility very seriously," Weir said. "We will cooperate fully with police and the prosecutor's office as they carry out their investigation."

Bradley and Bates are the biological parents of the deceased 2-year-old, according to the documents.

Bradley is pregnant and is due in July. She has her kids' names tattooed on her, according to the documents.
