Apparel shop Homage OTR now open
Homage OTR, the new location of a Columbus-based retro apparel company is now open.
Located at 1232 Vine St., in the space that was previously Joseph Williams Home, the shop will sell the company's made-in-the-USA T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, hats and other accessories. They have a vintage bent, featuring sports, music, politics and pop culture.
Owner Ryan Vesler started the company as an online T-shirt business in his parents' basement in 2007. He opened his first storefront in Columbus in 2010 and now has a second location at Easton Town Center.
To go with the clothing's retro theme, the store features an old-time Coke machine filled with 12-ounce glass bottles and an NBA Jam arcade game.
Regular hours will be 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Saturday; noon-6 p.m. Sunday.
