Report: Reds tell teams Ryan Ludwick is available

The Reds are telling other teams that veteran outfielder Ryan Ludwick is available via trade, according to USA Today's Bob Nightengale, in advance of Major League Baseball's non-waiver trade deadline today at 4 p.m.

Nightengale's Tweet:

The 36-year-old Ludwick is hitting .261 with six homers and 27 RBIs this season in 249 at-bats. He has homered just once since June 9.

In 2012, Ludwick hit .275 with 26 homers and 80 RBIs in 422 at-bats.
