Missing 11-year-old Erlanger girl returns home

An 11-year-old girl who reported missing Wednesday from Erlanger returned home safe.

Iva Jansen was last seen walking along Commonwealth Avenue Wednesday and was considered endangered due to her mental status.

"She had made some statements that were implicitly suicidal," said Erlanger police Sgt. Jon Sterling.

Jansen returned home at about 12:45 p.m. Thursday, unharmed, Sterling said.
