Animal rights group PETA is planning a naked protest of a SeaWorld float in Macy' annual Thanksgiving Day parade in New York.

The group objects to the water park keeping orca whales in tanks that it says are too small. It also objects to the Cincinnati-based retailer's tacit support by allowing them in the parade.

To make their point, two naked protesters wearing body paint to look like orcas will sit in a cramped bathtub along the parade outside Macy's flagship Herald Square store.

"It is unacceptable to confine orcas to barren tanks that, to them, are the size of a bathtub," says PETA Foundation Deputy General Counsel Delcianna Winders.

Macy's officials did not respond to an email seeking comment.

The 88th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade starts at 9 a.m. in New York City and feature 8,000 participants. It will be nationally televised to millions.
