Donald Trump flew into Ohio on Tuesday for an hour-long rally at the Columbus airport. He was joined by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. The Enquirer covered what Trump said and chronicled a Trump supporters' journey from Cincinnati to Columbus to see Trump, so give those a read for full coverage of the event. As a reporter covering the rally, one of many I've covered over the years, here are a few other observations from the day – scraps from a reporter's notebook, if you will.
