A popular style of fried chicken is about to become far more available to hungry residents of the Tristate.

Nashville Hot, a new restaurant chain offering Nashville-style hot chicken, is set to open a location in Crescent Springs on Feb. 13, according to a news release from the restaurant group.

The restaurant plans on offering chicken at several spice levels along with Southern style sides and dessert items. Local craft beers from Mad Tree Brewing, Braxton Brewing and Country Boy will be available at the Crescent Springs location.

“I am excited to bring authentic Nashville hot chicken to Greater Cincinnati,” James Hutchison, head chef and general manager for Nashville Hot said in a release. “I’ve grown up eating hot chicken and I think people will be blown away by the unique flavor and juiciness. I’ve personally developed the proprietary blend of spices that we use in our hot chicken.”

The 564 Buttermilk Pike eatery is the first of several planned locations for the new Nashville Hot restaurant group, which was founded by former Tom+Chee president and investor David Krikorian. Former Bengals linebacker Brad Cousino is also a partner.

Diners who visit the new restaurant on its grand opening will receive free cobbler with their meal.
