The Butler County Sheriff's Office ended a two-month heroin investigation Monday night by arresting four people deputies said were involved in drug trafficking.

Agents of the Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics Taskforce arrested the group after searching a Hamilton apartment at 3 Hampshire Court, according to a news release.

Officials found a small amount of heroin, 200 prescription pills, drug paraphernalia, digital scales, and $3,000 cash in the apartment, the release stated.
