Lakota East basketball coach Wally Vickers retires

Longtime Lakota East boys basketball coach Wally Vickers has retired, Lakota East Athletic Director Rich Bryant told The Enquirer.

Vickers was the second East hoops coach after the Lakota District split high schools in 1997-98. He has 31 years in education.

Longtime assistant Clint Adkins is the new Thunderhawks coach. He has been an assistant for 10 years and is a teacher in the building.
