Sexual assault reported near UC

Two male suspects threw a person to the ground and one of them sexually assaulted the victim Friday near the University of Cincinnati, school officials said.
The victim was reportedly walking down the 2000 block of West Clifton Avenue at approximately 1:30 a.m. when the assault took place, according to an email from UC's Department of Public Safety sent to students and faculty.
The location of the offense was near Murphy's Pub several blocks south of campus. Officials state the victim was not a UC student.
The two suspects were last seen heading south on West Clifton Avenue past Murphy's Pub.
UC officials said Cincinnati police are investigating the incident.
