New in Retail: OTR startup opens pop-up shop
Frameri, an Over-the-Rhine provider of prescription lenses that can be installed in interchangeable frames, opened a winter pop-up shop Nov. 21 at 1419 Vine St.
The pop-up shop will serve customers in addition to a retail showroom space the company built at its headquarters at 1308 Race St. It is scheduled to stay open until Jan. 3, 2016.
Frameri, a graduate of startup accelerator The Brandery, was founded in 2012 by Konrad Billetz and Kevin Habich.

The company recently raised more than $1 million in seed capital and was approved for a $750,000 loan from the state of Ohio.
It appeared in May on Shark Tank, an ABC-TV show about budding entrepreneurs.
