Can't wait until September for Cincinnati Comic Expo?

Neither can organizers.

The folks behind the three-day event that draws some 16,000 people announced a new event: Queen City Comicon.

Hosted by the Duke Energy Convention Center, the celebration, focusing on comic books, artists and pop culture, is April 16. Admission is $5 or free if you hung onto that VIP badge from the 2015 Cincinnati Comic Expo.

The headlining artist? Frank Brunner. You might know him as the artist for Doctor Strange and Man-Thing for Marvel Comics. Or for Howard the Duck, which he co-created.
