Police arrest suspected NKY serial bank robber

Northern Kentucky officials said they arrested a man suspected of robbing multiple banks in recent days. 

Covington police Lt. Col. Robert Nader said in a Thursday news release the yet-to-be-identified male suspect involved in at least three bank robberies was arrested by Erlanger police.

Northern Kentucky officials announced Thursday night the arrest of a man suspected of robbing multiple banks in recent days.

Sgt. Jon Sterling said Zachary Prince of Elsmere was arrested Thursday night in connection to at least two bank robberies committed in Erlanger since Monday.

Prince is accused of robbing a BB&T bank and a Circle K, both located in the 3000 block of Dixie Highway, on Monday, Sterling said. Investigators worked with neighboring police departments to identify Prince as a suspect in robberies committed in Covington and Florence, as well.

Covington police Lt. Col. Robert Nader said in a Thursday news release that Erlanger police arrested a male suspect accused of robbing the Fifth Third Bank at 107 Brent Spence Square around 4:30 Thursday.

Prince is being held in the Kenton County Detention Center on robbery charges.
