If John Kasich does well in NH, it won't be because of media attention

Cincinnati

Ohio Gov. John Kasich has bet his presidential campaign on tonight's New Hampshire primary. If he does well - and polls suggest he could finish second - it won't be because of media attention.

A LexisNexis Newsdesk analysis compared Kasich's coverage to the three other top GOP contenders. As you can see, Kasich's share of media coverage is puny.

'Share of Voice' is defined as the percentage of articles written about that person vs. the other people in the chart.  So, for the last 100 days, John Kasich has gotten 2.71% of the share of voice between him and the top 3 Republican frontrunners.
