A man was arrested by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Special Response Team after he threatened to kill two women and barricaded himself inside his Green Township home, police said.

William Kelly, 37, is accused of pointing a BB gun at the heads of two women and threatening to kill them when they were at his house in the 5100 block of Ralph Avenue around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

The BB gun is a replica of a Smith and Wesson M&P 40 with the orange tip blackout out, police said.

Kelly and two other people were believed to be inside the home when Green Township police arrived at the scene. The Special Response Team entered the home and arrested Kelly when officers could not make contact with anyone inside the house, police said.

Kelly is accused of two counts of aggravated menacing.

Sandra Kellem, 28, was also in the home and arrested on unrelated charges.

There were no reported injuries. The incident is under investigation by Green Township police.
