More than 350 craft beers will be available to sample at Cincy Winter Beerfest this weekend.

It's the ninth year for the festival, set for 7:30-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Duke Energy Convention Center, Downtown.

If you haven't been, it works like this: Your ticket purchase includes 25 sample tickets and a 5-ounce souvenir acrylic mug. From there, you can work your way around the hall, trading those 25 tickets for beer samples from the more than 100 participating breweries that will be on site.

Yes, that's a lot of choices. So if you're serious about trying some specific beers, it's smart to check out the beer list on the event's website before you go. That way, you can make sure you hit those breweries' booths first, as beers do run out.

Tickets are $55 ($45 advance) or $65 for early (6:30 p.m.) admission ($55 advance). Designated driver tickets are $20 (advance only) and include water and soft drinks. Connoisseurs' Reception tickets, $95 (advance only), allow access to the Connoisseur Reception Area, where appetizers from local restaurants are paired with rare beers, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. (Designated driver Connoisseurs' Reception tickets are $35, advance only.)
