Sheriff's office: 20 arrested in Clermont drug sweep

Some of those arrested in July 2 sweep by the Clermont County Sheriff's Office.

Twenty residents of Felicity were arrested on drug charges Thursday after a five-month investigation, officials said.

The Clermont County Sheriff's Office, narcotics unit, investigative unit, road patrol and K-9 units were involved in the sweep resulting in the many of the arrests.

Other suspects involved with the investigation were arrested on various open warrants.

Police named 13 people, ranging in ages from 24 to 55, arrested in connection to drug trafficking and manufacturing methamphetamine.

Bobby Bowling, 55, Roy Sharp, 34, Felix Napier, 44, Lou Ann Nun, 41, Deidre Conn, 40, Wendy Baldwin, 33, Steven Wagers, 44, Donald Young, 24, Toby Wallzs, 43, Jessica Wallzs, 40, Travis Wagner, 39, Connie Mathias, 32, and Norman Flora, 35, all face felony charges.

Officials also reported that three search warrants were served resulting in the recovery of a vehicle, $2,900 and drug paraphernalia.

They also discovered a meth lab and two marijuana growing operations.

Two children were also removed from one of the homes by Clermont County Children's Protective Services.

The group will appear in court Friday for a bond hearing.
