The former Danbarry now has a second star-studded life.

A new movie theater, restaurant and bar has opened in the location the former Danbarry in the Jungle Jim's International Market shopping complex on Eastgate South Drive.

Eastgate Brew and View is operated by Theatre Management Corporation, which also runs the Mariemont, Kenwood and Esquire theatres.

The brew and view houses eight movie screens, as well as a full kitchen and bar, Gary Goldman, president of Theatre Management Corporation, told The Enquirer this fall. The theater will showcase first-run, commercial films.

"The Good Dinosaur," "Victor Frankenstein," "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2," "The Night Before," "Secret In Their Eyes," "The Peanuts Movie" and "Spectre" are playing now.

The bar will include 30 local and craft beers on tap. The menu features brunch, salads and wraps, flatbreads, snacks and sandwiches. The food can be ordered in the movie theater, the lobby or outside dining area.

Adult evening tickets are $10.50, a matinee ticket is $7.50. A child (12 years and younger), student, active-duty military, and age 60 and older tickets are $7.50. There is a $3 surcharge for 3-D movies. For more, call 513-947-2739?.
