A medical helicopter responded to a crash in Butler County Wednesday morning.

Three people were taken to the hospital after a head-on crash in Butler County on Wednesday morning, officials said.

One person had to be flown to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center from the two-vehicle crash in the 3800 block of Milliken Road, Fairfield Township fire officials said.

Two people were trapped and had to be extricated from one of the vehicles after the crash around 7:15 a.m., a supervisor said. None of the injuries are considered life-threatening, the supervisor said.

A Fairfield Township firefighter said it appeared everyone involved in the crash was 21 years old or younger.

Authorities closed the road for more than two hours to investigate.

The road was reopened before 10 a.m.
