Police are investigating a crash scene in Clermont County on Saturday after a 55-year-old man was killed in a single-car accident on State Route 743.

The crash was reported to police around 12:15 p.m. Saturday from Washington Township. Police are not sure what time the accident occurred.

When police arrived, they found that Gary Kiskaden, 55, of Moscow, Ohio, was killed in the crash.

Police investigators believe that Kiskaden lost control of his GMC Envoy while making a right hand turn and traveled off the roadway and into an embankment, according to a release. The vehicle struck several trees before coming to a stop, police said.

Kiskaden was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation with the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
