1 injured in ATV accident near Burlington

At least one person was injured Thursday afternoon in an ATV accident near a Northern Kentucky home, according to police.

The Burlington Fire Department and Boone County Sheriff's Office responded to a scene near a residence in the 4800 block of Woolper Road just before 5:30 p.m., according to a sheriff's office representative. The person injured, who was not identified, was transported to an area hospital.

The circumstances behind the accident and severity of injuries suffered were not immediately known.
