96 Rock introduces new morning show

96 Rock introduced its new show, "96 Rock Mornings with JD & Bridget" on Monday, July 6.

The new show replaces the "Free Beer and Hot Wings" show, which replaced the "Fin & Mistress Bridget" morning show in September 2014.

"Cincinnati spoke, we listened," according to Axel Lowe, program director of 96 Rock. "The 96 Rock audience wants music in the morning and that's what we are delivering, the most rock in morning drive," Lowe said in an email.

Along with rock music, JD & Bridget will keep listeners entertained and informed with all of the important things they need to know to start the day, plus music and entertainment news, sports and all things Cincinnati, according to Lowe.

JD has been with 96 Rock since 2008. Bridget has been with the station since it began in 2007. She returns to "Morning Drive" and will also continue to host "Middays."

"96 Rock Mornings with JD & Bridget" airs Monday through Friday from 6-10 a.m.
