Traffic patterns are being altered on an almost daily basis near Great American Ball Park, the main site for Major League Baseball's 2015 All-Star Game events.

Prep work has forced temporary traffic changes that will affect Banks residents and visitors.

Mehring Way, one of the busier streets around the stadium and The Banks, is down to one lane in spots from Elm Street to Pete Rose Way.

Officials are continuing various All-Star Game projects there, according to the @RoadmapCincy twitter account.

Mehring Way is also closed through July 16 between Joe Nuxhall Way and Broadway/Johnny Bench Way. The closure is intended to create space for a media compound and deliveries.

Fewer motorists will be affected by changes in the traffic patterns on Joe Nuxhall and Freedom ways.

The application of decorations to Great American Ball Park has forced officials to limit northbound Joe Nuxhall Way to one lane at Freedom Way.

Freedom Way is closed between Rosa Parks Street and Walnut Street as crews assemble temporary structures for an All-Star Game block party.
