A mural depicting the history of Oakley will will span 205 ft. along the front wall of the new Oakley Station Kroger. Oakley artist, Ryan McNeely did the design (pictured). The five ft. tall mural was an ArtWorks project. The entire process took about six weeks.

A civil suit that was dismissed last year involving an Elsmere Police officer shooting and killing a man in 2012 has been reinstated. He and his wife, Terry, were trimming the grass and sweeping up the clippings in a neighbor's yard in the 4200 block of Dixie Hwy., Elsmere.
