The Reds grounds crew covers the field following a rain delay in the third inning during the MLB game between the Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Indians Friday, July 17, 2015, at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.

The Reds' postponed game in Washington from July 8 will be made up on Sept. 28 at 3:05 p.m., the team announced on Monday.

That day was scheduled to be the team's last off day of the season and comes in the middle of what was a seven-game home stand. The Reds host a 1:10 p.m. game against the Mets on Sunday, Sept. 27 and then start a three-game series against the Cubs at Great American Ball Park on Tuesday, Sept. 29.

The Reds also have a makeup game on Aug. 24 at home against the Tigers, from the June 18.
