Police: 1 shot in Springfield Twp.

A man was shot in Springfield Township just before 9 p.m. Monday, police said.

Police responded to the intersection of Zodiac Drive and Mercury Avenue and found a man in his early 20s with a gunshot wound to the leg. Authorities say the injury was minor.

The man was walking on the street when he was shot, Springfield Township police Sgt. Matt Wileher said. He was treated onsite by medical personnel and released.

Police are continuing to investigate the shooting. No arrests have been made.
