Going shopping on Black Friday? We have you covered

Cincinnati residents shop at Kenwood Towne Centre on Black Friday in 2010.

One of the biggest shopping holidays of the year is almost here.

Many big retailers in Cincinnati will start Black Friday a day earlier, per usual, opening their doors Thursday evening. Some other retailers – including Costco, H&M, Lowe's, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Sam's Club, Staples and Sur la Table – will remain closed Thanksgiving Day.

It's a holiday that's in big demand. This year, half of consumers plan to shop on Thanksgiving, with 40 percent saying they'll go to a store and 43 percent saying they'll shop online, according to a shopping survey by consulting firm Accenture. And 63 percent plan to shop on Black Friday.
