Online printing company expanding in NKY

Enquirer and Associated Press report

HEBRON, Ky. — An online printing company is planning to expand in northern Kentucky and hire 15 new workers.

Gov. Steve Beshear's office said this week that GotPrint will invest more than $6.1 million in the project in Hebron near the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. The company currently employs about 100 people. It plans to expand the facility by 32,000 square feet and buy a new printing press.

GotPrint provides online printing services for private and commercial customers. It is a subsidiary of Printograph Inc, a California-based firm established in 2001.

The state has given preliminary approval for tax incentives up to $230,000.

Beshear's office said nearly 60 companies have announced new locations or expansions in northern Kentucky in the past year, adding more than 2,700 jobs.

NKY firms could add 208 workers with investment plans

Printograph needed more space to install a Heidelberg printing press, which would expand production capacity by 33 percent, said Mike Foley, general manager of the Hebron facility.

Paul Hemmer Co. is leading the construction project to build a 32,000-square-foot expansion at the company’s 2000 Arbor Tech Drive facility at the Riverview Business Park.

Jobs would have an average wage of $20 an hour, or $41,600 a year, including employee benefits, according to state officials.

Printograph’s GotPrint opened in Hebron in 2008 with 12 employees.
