After a man walked away from an argument with his girlfriend, she fired a handgun at their Elmwood Place apartment building late Saturday night, police said.

Adilah Holmes, 37, and Aaron Williams, 44, were arguing in a vehicle outside their residence on Vine Street, according to police reports.

Williams left the car and walked into the building. This caused Holmes to "become enraged," and she shot at the building at least five times with a .45-caliber handgun, police said.

Police arrived on the scene and reported that Williams would not leave the apartment and refused to provide identification to police, according to court documents.

No injuries were reported.

Both Holmes and Williams were arrested and taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center, police reported

Holmes is charged with discharging a firearm at or into a habitation, and Williams is charged with obstructing official business, according to arrest reports.

They are both scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
