A man was shot in the face, but is expected to survive, after a confrontation in Roselawn Monday night, police said.

Police investigate a shooting in Roselawn Monday night. A man was shot in the nose, but he is expected to survive.

Officers responded to a reported shooting in the 7700 block of Stillwell Road just after 9:30 p.m.

The victim was "clipped in the nose" by a bullet during the shooting, police said. Witnesses reported hearing three loud shots before police arrived at the scene.

The victim was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Police said his injuries were not life threatening.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and there is no further information about potential suspects.

Police said several witnesses are cooperating with the investigation.
