2 shot in drive-by at West End Richie's Restaurant

Two men were wounded in a drive-by shooting at Richie's Restaurant in West End late Tuesday night, police said.

A nearby officer heard shots near the intersection of Linn Street and Ezzard Charles Drive and called in the incident just after 9 p.m.

Ten to 20 shell casing were found in street directly in front of the restaurant which had two of its front windows shot out.

Police said customers and employees were at Richie's when the shooting occurred. Employees worked to clean up while officers were outside investigating.

Cincinnati police Lt. Tim Brown reported both victims were taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center and are expected to survive.

No arrests have been made in connection to the shooting, Brown said.
