Anderson Township will be the location of the ninth Dewey’s Pizza in Greater Cincinnati. The company announced Tuesday that it will open a restaurant in the two-acre site along Beechmont Avenue and Witt Road.

The standalone, 3,400-square-foot store will open on August 31 and seat around 95 people.

“The residents in Anderson Township have been asking for a Dewey’s Pizza for well over a year now, so you can image the community’s excitement,” said Paul Folker, regional manager of Dewey’s Pizza and an Anderson Twp. native.

Alaina Mueller, a graduate of the Dewey’s Pizza leadership program, is the general manager for the new location. Mueller, a Michigan State alumna, has been with the company for four years. She said they are hiring full and part-time servers, hosts and cooks.

Dewey’s is known for hand-tossed pizza, with nothing else on the menu except salads and a calzone. They have always served beers and offered a nice wine list.
