Police have identified the man who died Saturday morning after his car went off Interstate 275 and landed on its roof on Kellogg Avenue.

Nathan Mitchell Allen, 19, lost control of his 1999 Volvo S70 on eastbound I-275 around 7 a.m. and drove into a median off the left side of the highway near Kellogg, police said.

After striking the median, the car went airborne and struck a bridge pier before it flipped over and landed on Kellogg Avenue, police said.

Allen was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and died at the scene, according to police.

The Cincinnati Police Department's Traffic Unit is investigating the crash. Its cause has not yet been determined. Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at 513-352-2514.
