A man accused of shooting and killing a 21-year-old man after a 2014 robbery in South Cumminsville was arrested in Westwood Monday afternoon.

Lavauhnus Walker, 20, of South Cumminsville, has been charged with two counts of murder, two counts of felonious assault and possession of a weapon under probation, according to a March indictment from the Hamilton County Prosecutor.

The arrest, made in the 5400 block of Glenway Avenue Monday, comes eight months after the death of Santonio Jones, 21.

Jones was originally rushed to the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the arm, but he died three days later.

Police later determined that the bullet went through Jones' right arm and into his chest.

A warrant for Walker's arrest was put out on April 2. He is currently being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center with a bond no less than $500,000.

A court date for Walker will be determined later in the week.
