Police: Man flips car, attemps to flee

A man was arrested in Spring Grove Village Saturday night after police said he flipped his car in a crash and attempted to flee the scene.

The accident happened in the 4600 block of Edgewood Avenue around 9 p.m., police said.

Initial reports indicated that the driver of the car was trapped inside the overturned vehicle, according to emergency communications. No other vehicles were involved in the accident, authorities said.

Police said they have not ruled out alcohol as a factor.

Charges are pending and an investigation is ongoing.
