Man charged with murder after 'suspicious' death

A Cincinnati man was arrested and charged with murder Saturday afternoon in connection with the "suspicious" death of 58-year-old woman in Fairfield, according to police.

Michael Jason Miller, 29, of Cincinnati was arrested and charged with murder in the death of 58-year-old Carol Boyd. He was booked into Butler County jail, according to a news release.

Boyd was found dead Saturday in her home on Woodridge Boulevard. Fairfield medics originally responded to the home around 1:30 p.m. after receiving reports of an unresponsive person.

Police said the death was "suspicious" and began an investigation.

An autopsy will be conducted by the Butler County Coroner's Office on Monday.

Miller will be arraigned at the Fairfield Municipal Court on Tuesday. He is being held without bond.
