'Madden' Bengals simulation predicts big play from Marshawn Lynch

Success for the Bengals this Sunday depends on Marshawn Lynch.

Or, success for the virtual Bengals anyway.

Our latest "Madden" simulation predicts a Cincinnati loss to Seattle 14-10. The game was in the Bengals' grasp as Jeremy Hill scored on a 2-yard run with 4:20 left in the fourth quarter. Lynch ruined that, though, with 38-yard TD reception less than two minutes later. In the real world, Lynch is nursing a hamstring injury and isn't a definite to play.

So what does that mean for this Sunday?

Well, our "Madden" season got off to a really rough start by incorrectly predicting the outcome of the Bengals' first three games. However, our simulation finally got it right by correctly predicting the Bengals' win over the Chiefs.

And, Electronic Arts has noticed how impressive the Bengals have looked this season, adjusting the player ratings that we update before every simulation. A.J. Green and Andy Dalton are at season-high player ratings at 93 and 84 respectively.

Check back Monday to see how we fared.
