2 arrested at Taste of Cincinnati

Thousands gather at the Taste of Cincinnati, the annual culinary arts festival that features more than 40 different restaurants on Fifth Street Saturday.

Two men were arrested Saturday evening near Fountain Square during the Taste of Cincinnati event, according to police reports.

Shaquielle Crutchfield, 19, was arrested after officers asked him to move along from a fight, police said.

Officers reported they used a Taser on him after he "took a fighting stance."

Crutchfield, of East Westwood, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, police said. He is scheduled to appear in court Monday.

In a separate incident, Franklin Burton, 18, of Westwood was arrested after he "threw a beverage bottle into a large crowd," police reported.

Burton was charged with disorderly conduct, according to records.

Both incidents took place between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Taste of Cincinnati continues at 11 a.m. Sunday wrapping up at midnight. Monday is the final day of the event running from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
