Officials ID driver in fatal Miami Township crash

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Woodville Pike near Deerfield Road in Miami Township, officials said.

Corliss Miller, 44, of Cincinnati, lost control of his 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt while driving on a left curve in the roadway, according a to a release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Miller over-corrected the turn and ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree, the release stated.

Miller was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clermont County Coroner's Office. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Speed is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
