A new festival in the works for Newport will celebrate Kentucky beverage producers.

Holler: A Celebration of Kentucky Craft Beer and Spirits is set for Nov. 7. New Riff Distilling and Ei8ht Ball Brewing will host the event, bringing in small craft brewers and distillers from throughout the state.

Breweries set to participate are Ei8ht Ball, Blue Stallion, Country Boy, Against the Grain, Rooster, Alltech, Good Wood, Braxton, West Sixth and Monnik. Participating distilleries are New Riff, Willett, MB Roland, Wilderness Trace, Second Sight, Limestone Branch, Corsair, Barrel House, Old Pogue, The Gentleman, and Copper and Kings.

“Kentucky is celebrated around the world for fine flavor,” New Riff general manager Hannah Lowen said in a news release. “We never stray too far from the farm, and we have the patience to see good flavor through to the end: Think of the nearly five million barrels of bourbon aging here in Kentucky and you’ll understand how important patience and quality is to us.”

The event will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. Nov. 7 at New Riff. Tickets are $50, which includes beer and spirits samples as well as food.
