Alleged drunken driver hits police cruiser

A police officer's cruiser was hit by an alleged drunken driver Saturday afternoon, according to police.

The incident occurred in the 6900 block of Gracely Drive in Sayler Park around 4 p.m., authorities said.

A police supervisor said he didn't know the condition of the officer Sunday morning, but he didn't think the officer sustained life-threatening injuries.

No other information was immediately available.
