Police: Man shot in eye in Westwood

A 61-year-old man was shot in the eye in Westwood on Wednesday morning, said Cincinnati Police.

The man who was shot told police that the incident happened in an apartment in the 2400 block of Harrison Avenue and that the shooter was a man in his 20s. The 61-year-old told police the young man shot him for no reason, said Lt. Tim Brown, the night chief.

The shooting victim was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Police have no suspects at this time.
